For this reason, the platform celebrates this possibility, which will allow people to have a new username without suffering any effect on the list of friends, Snap code, Snap score or memories.

“As an app built around the ephemeral, we know that people grow and change – we certainly have over the last ten years – and we couldn’t be more excited to bring this requested feature to Snapchatters,” said a spokesperson for Snapchatters. social network.

In this way, those who want to change their username will have to tap the Bitmoji icon in the upper right corner of the camera to be directed to the profile screen.

Then you have to enter the configuration section and from there select “username”, just below the name, and choose “change username”, which will appear marked in blue.

After changing the name, you will need to log in again for the change to take effect.

The company also explains that people will only be able to change the username once a year.
