The Oppo phone manufacturer today made one of its most important presentations of the year. It is about the renewal of its Reno family that now welcomes the new Oppo Reno6 and Oppo Reno6 Pro, two very complete devices with 5G connectivity. We have had the opportunity to take a look at both terminals and we are going to tell you all about them below.
Oppo Reno6 Pro
It is the flagship device of the Reno family. A phone with curved lines and delicate design that at first glance does not leave you indifferent. I personally believe that The Oppo Reno are one of the best representatives of the price-quality excellence binome and this phone was not going to be less.
Its back is covered with Oppo Glow glass, a technology that makes it a repellent of fingerprints and also makes it slip less and the grip feels firmer. The phone features a curved 3D AMOLED screen with 6.55-inch resolution and refresh rate of up to 90 Hz.
The power of the Oppo Reno6 Pro is provided by the Snapdragon 870 processor, which is accompanied by 12 GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Its battery is 4,500 mAh and it offers a 65 w SuperVOOVC 2.0 fast charging system that, according to the manufacturer, allows us to obtain a 25% charge in just five minutes. The compatible charger is included with the phone.
As for the cameras, the Reno6 Pro mounts a quad on its rear with 50, 16, 32 and 2 MP lenses. It also offers a color temperature sensor and a Bokeh Flare portrait mode that, as you can see in the following image, performs a bokeh quite natural to be by image processing.
Among other noteworthy data we have that the phone has a cooling system, IP54 water and dust resistance certification and works with Android 11 under ColorOS 11.3. The device can be purchased from today September 9 in two colors, Artic Blue (blue) and Lunar Gray (gray) in a single configuration of 12 + 256 GB and at a price of 799 euros.
The little brother is not short on specifications, but its design is very different from the Pro model. As you can see in the image above, its design with straight lines that Oppo has called “Ultra-slim Retro Design” reminds us quite of The current iPhone 12. While the phone neglects the curved lines of its older brother, it also gets the cover with the Oppo Glow glass that keeps it away from fingerprints.
The device has a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate. In its guts we find Mediatek’s mid-range Dimensity 900 processor that gives it 5G connectivity. It also has a single memory configuration made up of 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The terminal battery is 4,300 mAh. This battery is compatible with the SuperVOOVC 2.0 65w fast charging system and the compatible charger is also included with the phone. Like its older brother, the Oppo Reno6 offers us a cooling system, IP54 water and dust resistance certification and operates with Android 11 under ColorOS 11.3.
Regarding photography, in this model we have a triple camera made up of 64, 8 and 2 MP sensors. It also has a color temperature sensor and offers Bokeh Flare portrait mode. But in addition, it has a color portrait mode with AI that, as you see in the following image, leaves quality and quite curious results.
The device has been on sale from September 9 and arrives in two colors, Artic Blue (blue) and Stellar Black (black). As for its price, this is 499 euros for a single 8 + 128 GB configuration.
