Sony announces a new PS Plus with three subscription levels | Digital Trends Spanish

Sony introduced a new service that unites PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now. It will be available from June and will have three subscription levels. The change will be progressive and will start in Asia, then in North America, Europe and the rest of the world.

From the company they expect that by the end of the first half of 2022 the format will have been renewed. They also explain that it will not be called Spartacus, but that it is a redefinition of the concept that we already knew for both platforms.

The good news about this new PS Plus subscription offer from Sony is that it has access to online multiplayer, hundreds of PS4 and PS5 games, retro titles and game trials.

This is the most interesting thing that each level will present:

PlayStation Plus Essential

  • Two downloadable games per month
  • Exclusive discounts for the PlayStation Store
  • Cloud storage opportunity for our games.
  • Possibility to enjoy online multiplayer.
  • It is the equivalent of the current PlayStation Plus, so there will be no changes for current subscribers.
  • Price: $9.99 per month and $24.99 for three months

PlayStation Plus Extra

Everything mentioned above plus:

  • Catalog of up to 400 PS4 and PS5 games, including Sony exclusives and important third-party games.
  • Titles are downloadable
  • Price: $14.99 per month and $39.99 for three months

PlayStation Plus Premium

Everything mentioned above plus:
