More than three months after its launch, crypto exchange’s ad featuring Hollywood star Matt Damon was mocked in the latest episode of the animated series, South Park.

In the first episode of its 25th season, titled “Pajama Day,” the creators of South Park took on people in the United States who refuse to wear a mask and re-associated crypto investments with scams. Characters on the show attacked Damon’s appearance in a TV ad titled “fortune favors the brave,” which featured the actor talking about amidst a digital landscape of historical figures.

“My dad said he listened to Matt Damon and lost all his money…Yes, they all did! But they were brave to do it!”

The criticism is likely related to the loss of over $500 billion in combined market cap in January, with () falling from over $42,000 to $35,000.
