After several weeks of debate, the Ministry of Health and the autonomous communities have taken an important step in the management of the coronavirus in Spain: ending the obligation to isolate asymptomatic infections or mild symptoms.
The measure is included in the new “transition” strategy for the surveillance and control of COVID-19, approved this Tuesday by the Public Health Commission after several weeks of debate, and will come into force from next Monday, March 28 . “Recommendations will be issued aimed at preventive measures such as the use of a mask in all areas and avoiding contact with vulnerable people,” explains the Ministry in a note confirming the decision.
