A gigantic failure from another galaxy, this is how one could define the life, agony and near death of the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser, since Disney World is closing the immersive theme hotel of Star Wars which costs around $5,000 dollars a stay for two nights.
In an update on the Disney websitethe company says that the Starcruiser will receive its final guests from September 28 to 30.
“We are so proud of all the cast members and Imagineers who brought to life Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser and we look forward to delivering a great Guest experience on remaining voyages in the coming months,” Disney’s update reads. “Thank you to our guests and fans for making this experience so special.”
According to Disney, the company will contact anyone who has reservations on or after September 30 “to discuss their options and modify their plans.” The company is also pausing new bookings until May 26 while it deals with affected guests.
The attraction opened in March 2022. Short galactic life.
