After anticipating its premiere with a countdown, Capcom finally announced Street Fighter 6. While the arrival of a new installment of the famous fighting series got fans excited, part of the conversation on social media revolved around the logo. The reason? Which is too generic, so much so that, according to a graphic designer, Capcom bought it from an Adobe image bank for $80.
This was pointed out on Twitter by a user identified as @Aurich, who in turn presents himself as the creative director of the Ars Technica portal.

Although as such the user did not show a purchase receipt that Capcom had purchased the logo from Adobe’s image bank, he did show a screenshot for an image described as “SF FS Letter logo design vector template.” The resemblance to the logo of Street Fighter 6Needless to say, it’s remarkable.
“I don’t even know what to say. I knew it was generic, but I didn’t think it would be that bad. They should have looked up ‘SF’ on a generic logo site and rounded some corners and added a six,” @Aurich said on Twitter.
He even lampooned that anyone could create a video game with names like Street Guardians, Street Puncherz, Street Crash, and others, using more variants of the logo than Capcom would have bought.

Capcom did not reveal any further details about the features of Street Fighter 6 or the consoles for which it will be available, and although we trust that it will be a reliable title and at the height of the series, in short, the video game developer and distributor could have tried a little more.
