Tag Heuer and Nintendo partner to release Mario Kart watches | Digital Trends Spanish

Both are part of the series TAG Heuer Formula 1 x Mario Kart and have interesting features.

The cheapest model consists of a chronograph with a 44-millimeter sports case made of polished steel and integrates several references to the video game. The most important are the Mario Kart logo on the tachymeter bezel, and the figure of Mario on his racing car on the second hand. The strap, meanwhile, is made of black calfskin, with red details.

the older version premium It consists of a tourbillon chronograph, which is also riddled with Mario Kart-related details. The 45-millimeter case is made of grade 5 titanium and also features the game’s logo on the tachymeter scale. But the detail that truly identifies it is the tri-compax skeleton dial, which showcases a custom Mario tourbillon and two typical racing memorabilia: a spiked blue shell and a Bullet Bill. The strap is also in calfskin, in black and red.

As for availability, online distribution for both Mario Kart watches will be limited to Australia, England, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, and the United States. While the prices will be $4,300 (or 4,150 euros) for the cheapest model, and $25,600 (24,750 euros) for the most exclusive variant.
