The 2023 Kia Telluride Arrives at the New York Auto Show | Digital Trends Spanish

Since its launch in mid-2019 as a 2020 model, the Kia Telluride has been one of America’s favorite three-row SUVs. Now with a slightly modified look and new off-road-oriented variants, Kia adds versatility to the formula for 2023.

The 2023 Telluride features restyled headlights and taillights, new bumpers, a new grille, and different wheel designs. In the cabin we find a dashboard dominated by a slightly curved unitary screen that incorporates both the digital instrument panel and the infotainment system with a touch zone, a new steering wheel and air vents that complete the modifications.

Telluride lineup adds X-Line and X-Pro models for 2023 with off-road capability. The Telluride X-Line has a 0.4-inch higher ground clearance, resulting in improved approach and departure angles. The model also features new roof rails, unique 20-inch wheels, revised traction control settings, and a new trailer mode that incorporates sway control.

The Telluride X-Pro, with increased ground clearance and 18-inch Continental off-road tires, adds more talent to the X-Line model’s capabilities. The X-Pro also increases the towing capacity of the standard Telluride from 5,000 to 5,500 pounds.

The 2023 Telluride lineup will continue with the same Kia 3.8-liter naturally aspirated V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, eight-speed automatic transmission, and front- or all-wheel-drive configurations. For safety, traffic sign recognition systems and a new forward collision avoidance system, which works to detect approaching vehicles when turning left at intersections, are now standard.

Kia did not provide pricing information for the new 2023 Telluride, which should hit dealerships in the coming months.
