Pedro Sánchez and Pere Aragonès held a meeting this Wednesday at the Palau de la Generalitat in Barcelona. In it, the President of the Government has delivered to the Catalan Government a document with his proposals to reach political agreements between the two executives. It is an “update” of the ‘Agenda for the reunion’ to which it had already been referred on previous occasions, and which includes 44 of the 45 points that the presidents of the Generalitat have sent to Moncloa in the last decade, except for the independence referendum.
Both leaders have appeared after their meeting in the framework of the negotiation table between the two governments. The two have confirmed that their positions are “very far apart” but have agreed that the dialogue table should not have temporal limitations. “Without haste, but without pause and without deadlines,” Sánchez stressed. “The details are more important to us than the deadlines,” Aragonès agreed.
