If you have symptoms of COVID-19 or just want to clear up any doubts, a good idea is to take a quick home test to find out your diagnosis. These are an excellent alternative to avoiding the long lines at medical centers, and the best part is that they can provide results in around 15 minutes.

However, with so many options available on the market it can be hard to know which one to try. To help you in your search, we have put together some alternatives based on availability and authorization from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). According to studies by this US agency, the Abbott BinaxNow and Quidel QuickVue tests can detect the omicron variant, according to preliminary results.
