The Boca de Huérgano (León) fire drops to level 0 as the evolution improves and the Candeleda (Ávila) fire is considered extinct

The Ministry of the Environment of Castilla y León has reported that the Boca de Huérgano fire in León drops to Level 0. After the work of the troops during the night, the danger is removed. The Junta de Castilla y León declared dangerousness level 1 yesterday Monday at nine in the morning, due to a possible impact on more than 30 hectares of trees.

While the fire in the Leonese mountain is still active, the one declared in Candeleda (Ávila) is considered extinguished, according to the part of the Ministry of Development and Environment at 10:00 am this Tuesday.

Also in the province of León, an intentional fire has been active in Matallana since Monday night and in which two technicians, four environmental agents, a bulldozer, a fire engine, a night crew, four ground crews and an advanced command post work .
