The cast of the eighth season of The Lord of the Skies | Digital Trends Spanish

Telemundo unveiled the official cast that leads the eighth season of its successful franchise, The Lord of the Skies, led by the long-awaited return of the superstar Raphael Amaya like the legendary Aurelio Casillas. The seventh season of the award-winning Super Series seemed to seal the end of boxes. However, the iconic character proved invincible and returns more determined than ever to take back all that he has lost.

Currently filmed in Mexico, the new season of The Lord of the heavens is produced by Telemundo Studios and written by Luis Zelkowicz.

Returning to the favorite characters of the audience are carmen aub (as Rutila Casillas), Ivan Arana (as Ismael Casillas), Isabella Castillo (as Diana Ahumada) and Alexander Lopez (as Super Javi), with the special participation of Lisa Owen, Robinson Diaz, and Salvador Pineda. Actors also join the cast. Ruben Cortada, Africa Zavala Y Yuri Vargas as new recurring characters.

The star cast is completed by Maricela González, Karla Carrillo, Thalí García, Alan Slim, Karen Sandoval, Denia Agalianou, Carlos Corona, Daniel Martínez, Elsy Reyes, José Sedek, Wendy de los Cobos, Roberto Escobar, Sebastián González, Brenda Hanst, Daniel Martínez Campos, Renata Manterola, Mimi Morales, Jorge Cárdenas, among others.

In the new season, for everyone who knows him, Aurelio Casillas is dead. Only his enemies at the DEA know the best kept secret in the desert, the Lord of the Skies is more alive than ever and determined to assume power again. Aurelio establishes a powerful union with allies from previous seasons, while facing new romances and uncovering family mysteries, once again risking his life in the name of revenge.

Based in Mexico and the Caribbean, the new season of The Lord of the heavens is directed by Juan Carlos Valdivia, Conrado Martínez, Mauricio Meneses, and Bernardo Mota with Karen Barroeta, Ximena Cantuarias and Telemundo’s Harold Sánchez as executive producers.
