The Civil Guard investigates the gang rape of a tourist in Almería

The Civil Guard of Almería has opened an investigation after the complaint of an alleged gang rape of three men to a woman in the Pulpileña district of San Juan de los Terreros. At the moment there has been no arrest in a case in which, according to reports The Voice of Almeria, the victim would be a 30-year-old tourist who was on vacation in the area. The alleged rapists, according to the local media, would be three young people between 18 and 21 years of age.

At 9:05 p.m. last Saturday, a call from an individual alerted the 112 Andalucía Emergency service, assuring that a girl had been found on Pisuerga street in the municipality of Pulpí and that she had been sexually assaulted by three men.

Immediately afterwards, the 112 coordinating center notified the Civil Guard and the Pulpí Local Police, whose agents took a statement from the victim. As confirmed to Andalucía by sources from the Benemérita, the woman filed a complaint for some events that would have occurred during that same afternoon. She was later transferred to the La Inmaculada de Huércal-Overa hospital, where health professionals carried out an examination to assess the damage.

The Judicial Police of the Civil Guard has taken charge of the investigation. At the moment, the agents have not wanted to reveal any information about the victim. From the armed institute they have indicated to this medium that no arrest has yet been made.
