The father of Yéremi Vargas was arrested again this Wednesday accused of an alleged sexual assault on another teenager. The arrest has been carried out by the National Police in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where the detainee resides. This has been advanced by Cadena Ser, which adds that the 13-year-old victim has reported the alleged sexual abuse to the National Police in the capital of Fuerteventura, Puerto del Rosario.
This new complaint comes after Juan Francisco Vargas, the father of Yéremi Vargas, was arrested at dawn this Monday for an alleged sexual assault on his 13-year-old daughter. It is, therefore, the second arrest of Francisco Vargas in three days for two complaints of sexual abuse. The guard court of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria decreed on Tuesday, August 31, the provisional release for Vargas and issued a measure of removal of his daughter.
Juan Francisco Vargas is the father of Yéremi Vargas, who on March 10 marked the 14th anniversary of his disappearance when he was seven years old and who lost track while playing in a field near the family home in Vecindario, in Santa Lucía de Tirajana (Gran Canaria).
