“The world of Galadriel is a raging sea. Far from the wise and ethereal elven queen that Cate Blanchett brought to Peter Jackson’s acclaimed films, the Galadriel played by Morfydd Clark in the upcoming series is thousands of years younger, just as angry and reckless as she is.

The new project will also introduce new characters who did not appear in Peter Jackson’s trilogy. One of them is Arrondir, the silver elf played by Ismael Cruz Córdoba.

“Rings for the elves, rings for the dwarves, rings for the men, and then the ring that Sauron used to trick them all. It is the story of the creation of all those powers, where they came from and what they did to each of those races, ”explains Patrick McKay, one of the writers of the series.
