The aid may be requested from next September 2, for a period of 12 months, and will have an initial amount of 500 million euros, as happened with the aid for companies between 10 and 49 employees.
However, the amount would be expandable, since the program in total has 3,067 million euros of endowment from the Next Generation funds.
“The amount of the aid will be 6,000 euros and with it SMEs will be able to acquire digitization solutions for key areas such as: website and internet presence, social network management, electronic commerce; customer management; virtual office services and tools, business intelligence and analytics, process management, electronic invoicing, secure communications, and cybersecurity. In addition, in this second call, two new categories are added, such as advanced presence on the Internet and marketplace”explains the Red.es call.
The grants are non-competitive and “will be awarded directly and in order of arrival”, once the verification of compliance with the requirements of the call has been made.
What is the digital kit
The digital kit is an aid program launched by the coalition government that allows you to hire digital services divided into 12 categories with Next Generation funds for one year. After modifying the base order last week, ‘marketplace’ services and advanced positioning on the Internet have been added,’ indicates Europa Press.
As the main novelty, this call will allow companies to finance ‘hardware’, as some self-employed associations such as Uatae demanded.
To apply for the aid, companies must register on the Acelera Pyme portal and complete a self-diagnosis test to qualify for the aid. This can be processed through the more than 8,700 digitizing agents attached to it.
According to data made public by the Government, so far the digital kit program has received “around 68,000 applications” and “close to 21,000 grants” have been awarded in the last four months.
