The head of the Court of Instruction number 3 of Almería has issued this Wednesday an order in which it annuls the summons as investigated of the Minister of Agriculture of the Junta de Andalucía, Carmen Crespo, who “was cited for an error”, according to has informed the Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia (TSJA).
It should be remembered that this past Monday, Crespo had been called to appear in court on April 8 as investigated for her participation in the granting of a subsidy for the construction of the Museum of Agriculture in the municipality of La Mojonera, in the framework of the case of the alleged bites of the PP of Almería.
Sources from the Andalusian high court have explained that a court cannot cite a certified person as investigated, in the case of Crespo, so the judge “will have to continue investigating, call the rest of those investigated or the procedures that it deems appropriate.” According to the sources, if in this process the court finds sufficient evidence of a crime, it will have to “submit a reasoned statement to the Civil and Criminal Chamber of the TSJA so that it is the one that takes the matter.”
Therefore, Crespo’s summons as investigated is annulled, revoking what was issued in the decree of December 21 with regard to his person, both his condition as investigated and his judicial summons, the same sources clarify.
