The Junta de Castilla y León assures that the Navalacruz fire has a “favorable evolution” although its southern flank is still on fire

The Junta de Castilla y León assures that the Navalacruz (Ávila) fire that started on Saturday and has already destroyed 12,000 hectares, has a “favorable evolution”, with some parts of its perimeter already stabilized, although it warns that the fire may be reactivated. In addition, it reports that the southern flank is still active and on fire. The president of the Board, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco will visit the area this Tuesday and will report on the situation and the work that is being carried out to control the most serious fire that has occurred in Spain this summer. Fernández Mañueco already traveled to the command post that coordinates the extinction efforts on Monday, although the president did not make any statements.

On the other hand, the Board considers the El Raso fire, in the municipality of Candeleda, controlled, which was also registered on Saturday. His rating has gone to level 0 at 7.30 am, after a night of intense work due to a new fire that broke out in the area at 11.10 pm and was controlled at five this morning.
