The Mossos d’Esquadra have arrested six people as alleged perpetrators of a gang rape. According to El Periódico has advanced, the events occurred in the early hours of Thursday to Friday on the beach of Barceloneta (Barcelona). The victim was transferred to the Hospital Clínic and upon being discharged, this Saturday morning, she has filed the complaint.

In the statement given to the Mossos d’Esquadra, the victim assured that he could recognize the aggressors and that he knew where to find them. Following this statement, the police force has proceeded to arrest these six people, while investigations are carried out to determine what has happened.
Of the six detainees, one is accused of sexual assault and the other five of sexual abuse.
