The Police investigate the murder of a 52-year-old woman in A Coruña as a sexist crime

A 52-year-old woman has been allegedly murdered by her partner in their home in the city of A Coruña. The victim received several stab wounds. The National Police are looking for the man with whom they had a relationship as the alleged perpetrator of this crime that is being treated as sexist violence, sources of the investigation have informed Europa Press.

The events occurred before two in the morning this Thursday. At that time a man called 091 to alert that his mother had been found dead in a room of his home, on Juan Darriba Street, in the Birloque neighborhood.

The agents have requested collaboration to find the whereabouts of the woman’s partner, a 49-year-old man with a history of gender violence who is searching and capturing. The woman’s son told the police that the couple had had a strong argument a few days ago.
