The PP cuts the distance with the PSOE in half in a CIS that raises Sumar to 12.3%

At the gates of the regional and municipal elections on May 28, the dispute between PSOE and PP narrows. According to the Center for Sociological Research (CIS), if these elections were general, the Socialists would win, but their advantage over Alberto Núñez Feijóo’s party falls by half in just one month. The May survey also reflects a strong rise in Sumar, which adds almost two more points to its vote estimate, and a drop in Podemos, which loses six tenths compared to April.

The May barometer, the last one before 28M, leaves bad news for PSOE, Vox and Podemos. Everyone loses voting intention at the national level, but it is the Socialists who experience a stronger fall.
