The president of the Region of Murcia maintains an ambiguous position. Fernando López Miras is “convinced of the honorability” of Ayuso but also believes that the national leadership has acted “correctly”. And the leaders of the PP in the Valencian Community, Aragón and Asturias position themselves with Casado’s theses.
In the case of the Popular Parliamentary Group in Congress, the majority of the deputies, 49 out of 88, have shown their support for the leader of the popular group on social networks, and only two, Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo and Pilar Marcos, opt for Ayuso, while the rest have not yet publicly commented.
