The Socialists would thus increase their margin over the main opposition force by four tenths, if the result is compared with that of the February barometer, although this new study has been done with a renewed estimation formula, as announced yesterday by the president of the CIS, José Félix Tezanos.

The new formula gives Vox 1.5 more points, while United We Can fall almost two points and Citizens continues its collapse.

He acknowledged that the institute had not been able to estimate the vote for Vox “well” until now and announced that a “new estimation model” had been implemented, which has already been applied in the March Barometer.

“We are not estimating the Vox vote well, because there is probably a hidden vote,” he assured during an appearance in Congress, in response to a far-right deputy who had reproached him for the fact that, in his studies, the CIS predicted downwards the vote for Vox.
