The Super Follows of Twitter are already a reality | Digital Trends Spanish

Twitter is already one step closer to OnlyFans and other paid content services.

The social network has just launched its Super Follow feature that allows users to pay a monthly subscription to access exclusive content from their preferred accounts. At the moment the feature is only available for accounts in the United States and Canada and for iOS users (both creators and subscribers). The platform explains that the service will come to Android and the web version of the social network soon, but does not give further specifications in this regard.

With this new function, creators will be able to request money in exchange for showing some of their tweets, which will only remain available to those who pay a subscription to the user, that is, only those who pay will be able to see and respond to said tweets.

In a blog post, the social network ensures that Super Follows will soon add more exclusive options such as newsletters, the option to subscribe to an account anonymously or private spaces. Regarding the price of subscriptions, Twitter establishes several predetermined price ranges for creators. These ranges are $ 2.99, $ 4.99, or $ 9.99 per month; the creator will be able to freely choose between these three options how much he wants to charge subscribers per month for accessing his content.

At the moment there are few accounts attached to the Twitter payment program. According to the platform, the sports analyst @ KingJosiah54, the makeup artist @MakeupForWOC, the tarot artist @TarotByBronx and the writer @myeshachou are part of the new program.
