Vivo landed just nine months ago in the Spanish market, but the Chinese manufacturer already has an interesting catalog with which to compete with important rivals such as Xiaomi or Honor. The latest device to join the ranks of Vivo, the V21 5G, was presented in April in Malaysia is the V21 5G and today, June 21, the manufacturer has announced its arrival in Spain.
It is a phone with scandal specifications and a very tight price, the usual trend in an increasingly competitive and saturated mid-range. It comes in two colors, black and an iridescent tone that reminds us of Huawei’s colorful P30s. Its screen is a 6.44-inch AMOLED with FullHD + resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. The front camera is inside a small drop-shaped notch located in the center of the screen.
For power, the device relies on a MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor accompanied by 8 GB of RAM (plus 3 GB of extended RAM) and 128 GB of internal storage. This processor is accompanied by a 5G modem to give it such availability. The phone operates with Android 11 under FunTouch OS 11 and has a 4,000 mAH battery with 33W fast charging that, according to the manufacturer, manages to charge more than 60 percent in just 30 minutes.
In the photographic section, Vivo has bet all its cards on the front camera, so the priority audience for this phone is lovers of selfies or content creators for social media platforms. Its front camera is one of the most powerful we have seen in a mid-range device with a 44 MP sensor with OIS and dual LED flash to take selfies in total absence of light. The rear camera has three sensors, a 64 MP main one, an 8 MP wide angle and a 2 MP macro sensor.
The new Vivo V21 5G can be purchased from June 21 for 399.99 euros in a single configuration. Soon we will analyze it in Digital Trends in Spanish to give you all the details about this interesting phone.
