A total of 125 municipalities will be affected by the curfew decreed by the Generalitat as of this Friday. The measure, endorsed by the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC), will last 14 days, until Reyes, and will mean the prohibition of night mobility in these towns between 1:00 and 6:00, except for essential services.
Catalonia opens the hiring of medical students to face the sixth wave
The criterion for applying the curfew is that the municipalities have more than 10,000 inhabitants and a cumulative incidence of more than 250 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last week. In practice, this affects most Catalan cities, starting with all the provincial capitals and also those of the metropolitan area of Barcelona.
