These are the Playstation Plus titles for July | Digital Trends Spanish

After a week or so of rumors and leaks, Sony has finally announced the lineup of playstation plus July, and includes high-profile titles Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time Y The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan along with a new cooperative shooter called Arcadeggedon.

Crash Bandicoot 4 is arguably the biggest and most recognizable game of the month, bringing challenging platforming to subscribers who haven’t had a chance to immerse themselves in the 2020 revival of the beloved franchise. Despite retaining the game’s signature difficulty and accuracy requirements, series, this new release comes packed with many improvements to the established formula and a handful of cherished options that allow players to reduce the penalty for failure.

The survival horror adventure of 2019Man of Medanwas the first title released in the series The Dark Pictures Anthology from Supermassive, and just like the developer’s most recent game, The Quarry, focuses on a multi-character narrative with branching paths and multiple endings based on player choice. It received a decent reception upon release and should keep horror fans busy while they wait for this year’s other big hits like The Callisto Protocol and the recently announced DLC Resident Evil 8 from Capcom.

Finally, Arcadeggedon is a new four-player cooperative shooter with PVE and PVP elements that takes place entirely within an arcade game. Originally announced last year, the title is making its debut via PS Plus. Historically, launching as a free-to-play game on the service has helped many otherwise under-the-radar multiplayer games garner more attention than they otherwise might have, so it’s possible that Arcadeggedon may be a big hit with subscribers.

All three games will be available starting Tuesday, July 5. Until then, you can still get your hands on June’s PS Plus titles, including Sony’s mega-hit God of War.
