Doom II is one of the most successful shooting games ever. In fact, it is still fondly remembered by video game lovers, despite the fact that almost 20 years have passed since it was released.
Now, this classic is back in the news due to Russia’s military intervention in Ukraine. On his Twitter account, John Romero, one of the creators of doomrevealed that a new map of Doom IIknown as One Humanity.

This is a new level for this game, which aims to collect money to help various humanitarian organizations working in Ukraine. On Twitter, Romero explained that the creation of this new map seeks to “support the people of Ukraine and the humanitarian efforts of the Red Cross and the Central Emergency Response Fund.”
How to get it
According to Romero, this new map can be obtained after making a donation of $5.50 dollars; 100 percent of the proceeds will go to these organizations.
It is not something minor for the lovers of this game, since it is the first map that Romero designs for Doom II since it was released in 1994.
In recent weeks, several studios in the field of video games have made significant donations to help the residents of Ukraine. The Pokemon Company donated $200,000 to GlobalGiving’s humanitarian aid activities in Ukraine, which should benefit people who have been affected by the war.
