This is the new calling interface in WhatsApp | Digital Trends Spanish

WhatsApp will add a new interface to group and individual calls. The changes are now available to some users of the beta testing program, as reported by WABetainfo.

For individual calls, the change is seen as a new screen showing a cleaner interfacealthough very similar to the one currently seen by all users.

However, for group calls, the most substantial change is that if users choose to turn off their camera, sound waves will be seen whenever they speak or the device’s microphone detects noise. This interface will be very similar to that of voice notes.

WhatsApp will add a new interface to group and individual calls. The changes are now available to some users of the beta testing program.

WABetainfo detailed that these changes are available in version 2.22.5.4 for Android and 2.22.5.70 for iOS. In both cases, only users who are part of the beta testing program will have access to the update.

In addition to these modifications, it is also detailed that WhatsApp will soon add a function that will allow you to display a wallpaper when making a video call. As in the case of sound waves for group calls, the wallpaper will only be displayed when the user you are chatting with has their camera turned off.

February 2022 has been a month full of updates for WhatsApp users, after in recent days the app released a function on iPhone that allows you to listen to audio even if the user is in another chat, an innovation that adds greater versatility to the popular platform instant communication.
