Next November 4 will be released on Netflix, Enola Holmes 2, and the actress Millie Bobby Brown returns to Baker Street in Victorian England, and the first official images of the film are now available.
Now Enola and her deductive skills are back, this time facing a conspiracy that could turn out to be her most dangerous case yet.
After successfully solving her first case, young Enola is now following in the footsteps of her famous brother (Henry Cavill) as he attempts to open his own detective agency (and hopefully step out of Sherlock’s shadow).
“We set the film in the hustle and bustle of London, which is something we really didn’t get to see as much of in the first one,” jokes Millie Bobby Brown. “We got to really see what this young lady is doing in this crazy city that surrounds her night and day, and we get to explore these places in great detail.”
As Enola investigates her new case, she crosses paths with familiar and new faces, including Helena Bonham Carter as her free-spirited mother, David Thewlis as a shady cop, and Louis Partridge as Enola’s warm-hearted love interest, Tewkesbury. But much of the film focuses on the strained family relationship between Enola and her older brother Sherlock, played by a returning Cavill.
