Those hospitalized with coronavirus go down again and Health adds 194 deaths since Tuesday

The Ministry of Health has registered 42,456 new cases of coronavirus since Tuesday, when the last report was issued, bringing the total number of infections since March 2020 notified by tests to 12,478,994. By communities, Madrid is the one with the most new infected (11,151). Behind it are Catalonia (5,708), Andalusia (3,921), the Canary Islands and the Valencian Community, both with 3,109.

In addition, the incidence in people over 60 years of age, the risk group in which the report is set, is at 578.39 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days, which represents a decrease compared to the last data, three days ago, which was 586.71.

Regarding the deceased, 194 more have been added, which places the number of deaths since the start of the pandemic at 107,108.

In hospitals, as of this Friday there are 6,412 people admitted, which translates into an occupation of 5.20%. Compared to the previous report, admissions have dropped by 349. In ICUs, there are 325 COVID-19 patients.
