The general manager of the Tocumen International Airport, Raffoul Arab, indicated that “the year 2021 was complex for the aviation industry, however, it marks the beginning of the recovery, where we continue to maintain the punctuality of our operations as one of the main differentiating factors, managing to once again demonstrate our ability to adapt to the new normal.”
This recognition “is a reward for the effort, dedication and commitment made this year by the entire human team that forms part of the Hub of Panama,” Arab highlighted.

Cirium resumed reporting in June 2021 when flight volumes returned, with regular monthly updates helping gauge the industry’s performance in getting passengers from point A to point B on time.
Cirium’s on-time performance analysis is based on operational data from more than 600 real-time flight information sources. The company collects data from more than 25 million flights.
