Twitter sues Elon Musk in court to force him to buy the company

Twitter sued billionaire Elon Musk on Tuesday in a court specializing in trade disputes in the United States to force him to buy the company, after he notified last week of his intention to break the agreement.

The technology company filed the lawsuit in the Delaware Court of Chancery, as it threatened last Friday when the businessman told the stock market regulator that he wanted to cancel the acquisition agreed in April for some 44,000 million dollars due to an alleged breach of contract.

According to the complaint, reviewed by Efe, Twitter accuses Musk of “criticizing the company, altering its operations, destroying shareholder value” and a “long list of contractual breaches that have obscured” his business, and asks that he be force to comply with the agreement.
