Twitter tests the edit button | Digital Trends Spanish

This September 1, Twitter officially began its first tests with the edit buttonfor now only available to users of the Blue membership, with the intention of expanding it to all, if successful.

What does Twitter say?:

“Edit Tweet is a feature that allows people to make changes to their Tweet after it has been published. Think of it as a short period of time to do things like fix typos, add missing tags, and more.

For this test, Tweets may be edited multiple times within 30 minutes of posting. Edited Tweets will appear with an icon, timestamp, and label to make it clear to readers that the original Tweet has been edited. By tapping the tag, viewers will access the Tweet’s Edit History, which includes previous versions of the Tweet.

For now the test will only be available for the United States.
