Twitter wants to place a button to update user status | Digital Trends Spanish

The application Twitter wants to continue adding features to increase user interactions on the platform. Now he wants to place a button to update the status of the tweeters and thus be able to answer the question What are you doing?.

The technology blogger and expert in social network applications, Jane Manchun Wong, discovered and explained what this development would consist of.

Twitter is working on “Set a status” in Tweet Composer, codenamed “Vibe”

You can think of it as something similar to Instagram Threads app’s Status pic.twitter.com/TGXH4uVe8Z

“Once you select the status button, you will see a message asking, “What are you doing?” The screenshot shows generic preset statuses you can select from, including “Grocery shopping,” “Driving the road,” “Lurking Twitter,” and “Studying for final exam,” the reverse engineer said.

Manchun Wong is not the only one who tracked down this Twitter change, Alessandro Paluzzi, which also often finds unreleased features, has seen a “vibration” status update feature. Paluzzi notes that the feature appears to be similar to Facebook’s “Feelings” and “Activities” status option, which allows users to notify others of what they’re currently doing through preset updates, such as “Listen to music” or ” Read a book”.

ℹ️ It should also be possible to add an emoji, perhaps it is something similar to the feeling/activity option of #Facebook posts 🤔 pic.twitter.com/xisc14WE3e
