Given the situation, Ramírez recommended users to “refrain from using platforms not authorized by Sunacrip” to execute their transactions and other operations related to bitcoin, “in an effort to guarantee the legitimacy of the operations and the support for the services offered”.

And CryptoLake?

Joselit Ramírez’s tweets had comments with a question in unison: And CriptoLago? The uncertainty is due to the fact that this exchange, based in Zulia state, did not appear among the list of exchange houses authorized by the Venezuelan government shared by the official.

The tweeter Rafael José Jiménez was one of those who questioned Ramírez’s message on the social network. «Good afternoon: it strikes me that CriptoLago does not appear on any of the three lists. I make this comment because I am a user of that platform and until last week I was able to make transactions with them.

To confirm, CriptoNoticias contacted Sunacrip. After requesting personal information, they indicated that, in effect, the exchange house is authorized to operate in Venezuela. This makes it known that the superintendent failed to put the name of that exchange in his messages.

It should be remembered that CriptoLago is an exchange that came under investigation by blockchain analytics firm Chainalysis, as reported by this medium.
