Two Britons and a third’s son among those killed in the bombing near Kabul airport




Two citizens British and the son of a third British citizen were killed in Thursday’s bombing at Kabul airport, the British Foreign Minister said on Friday, Dominic Raab.

“Yesterday’s despicable attack underscores the dangers Afghans face and reinforces why we are doing everything we can to get people out,” Raab said in a statement.

The attack on kabul airport on Thursday, in which 13 US soldiers and at least 79 Afghans were killed, he was claimed by Islamic State militants. The Afghan affiliate of the Islamic State, EIIL-Jorosán, has become an enemy of both the West and the taliban.
