In the conversation, the young Spanish woman spoke about the closure of the successful series and explained that neither she nor the rest of the cast ever imagined that the production would become so popular globally.

In this sense, the native of Barcelona recalled the exact moment in which she realized the success of The Money Heist.

In December 2017, the actress attended a New Year’s Eve party in Uruguay with her boyfriend Chino Darín and her father-in-law, Ricardo Darín (both renowned Argentine actors).

“It was a crowded party and all of a sudden everyone recognized me and was talking to me about Tokyo. I told my boyfriend: ‘What a coincidence that everyone who watches the series is at this party,’ “said the Spaniard.

In addition, according to what was narrated in the interview, Corberó ran into Madonna on a plane, who confessed to being a fan of the series, especially Tokyo, the character for which the actress achieved worldwide fame.

Finally, Jimmy Fallon took the opportunity to invite the United States public to see The Money Heist:

“It is the series of the moment. Is the new The Squid Game. If I had to bet all my chips on one series, it would be Money heist. And she is the protagonist ”.
