NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) – US government bonds increased their profits slightly in shortened trading on Friday. The futures contract for ten-year Treasuries (T-Note-Future) recently rose by 0.08 percent to 130.52 points. The yield on ten-year government bonds fell to 1.498 percent.
Dealers spoke of a thin and directionless deal before the end of the year. Market moving economic data were not published. The rapid spread of the omicron variant of the coronavirus is still in the focus of the markets.
