The US Embassy in Brazil will give a course on Dark Web and Cryptocurrencies in the State of São Paulo, in December 2021.
This will be the second time that the US embassy presents a seminar on the subject to public bodies in Brazil. Last July, for example, Esmafe in Recife offered a course on cryptocurrencies with authorities in that country.
The event aimed to present the subject of cryptocurrencies to federal judges, with the theme “Brazil-United States Dialogue on Cybercrimes and Current Issues of Procedural Law”.
Thus, it is clear that the training of Brazilian public bodies with international institutions continues to be expanded.
São Paulo Public Ministry is invited to participate in a course on cryptocurrencies with the US embassy
Members and employees of the Public Ministry of São Paulo are being invited to participate in an event on cryptocurrencies in the coming days.
This course on Dark Web and Cryptocurrency is being presented by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) of the US Embassy in Brasilia. The US embassy office in Belo Horizonte will also help with the presentation of the event.
“The Advice of the Homeland Security Investigations – HSI, of the United States Embassy in Brasília, together with the Office of the US Embassy in Belo Horizonte, invites the members of the Public Ministry of the State of São Paulo to participate in the Dark Web and Cryptocurrency Course.”
For participation in this international cooperation event on the topic, 50 places were made available, of which 25 are for members and 25 for servers.
As registrations must be submitted by December 5, 2021 and a Microsoft form has been opened for those interested in participating in the event, who must be fully available to participate in the event.
Training will last two days, with simultaneous translation
For those interested in learning more about the topics that will be presented, the 9th and 10th of December should be an immersion course, in a remote course presented by the government Zoom.
An HSI agent will present the content in English, which will have simultaneous translation into Portuguese. This event will take place between 2 pm and 6 pm on both days.
The event certainly draws attention, as the Public Ministry of São Paulo has already participated in several operations related to the cryptocurrency market, being able to learn new techniques for its actions in investigations of the Dark Web and cryptocurrencies.
Cryptocurrencies are a new topic, whose main character is Bitcoin, the largest currency in the world in terms of market value and which is already recognized as the official currency in El Salvador.
