Verizon celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with Pibe Valderrama | Digital Trends Spanish


There are more than 60 million Hispanics living in the United States and that is why from September 15 to October 15, the Hispanic Heritage Month.

Y Verizon wants to celebrate this milestone with some announcements:

With Global Choice, the international calling plan that provides a select number of minutes of long distance calling, new and existing qualified customers can access up to five hours per month to call their friends and loved ones in one of the 17 countries of Latin America at no additional charge, with discounted rates for additional hours. Verizon is the only provider that includes a block of minutes of monthly international calls to Cuba at no additional cost. And, as always, calls and texts to Mexico and Canada are included with select unlimited 5G plans.

But in addition, Verizon has partnered with Fútbol de Primera and renowned Argentine sportscaster Andrés Cantor to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with soccer fans in Los Angeles and San Jose. Customers will have the opportunity to meet the Colombian soccer legend Carlos “El Pibe” Valderrama and sportscaster Andrés Cantor at two stores in California.

● You can go on September 23 from 3 to 5 pm (PT) in Los Angeles at the Verizon store, located at 8300 Van Nuys Blvd, Panorama City, CA.
● And on September 26 from 3 to 5 pm (PT) at the Verizon store located at 1150 S King Rd, Suite 10, San Jose, CA.
