The spokesman for Vox in the Cortes of Castilla y León, Juan García-Gallardo, has assured this Sunday that his formation has already chosen its directors and that it will make them “public” when they are communicated to “President Mañueco and together we will close the details of the government program.
García-Gallardo was responding to information that, according to him, was a hoax and has been the dissemination of the name of the professor at the University of León, Salvador Rus Rufino, as a possible Minister of Culture of the coalition government between the PP and the extreme right.
The formation of the government in Castilla y León is being delayed due to the lack of agreement between the two parties to divide the functions of the government. The signed pact that gave Vox the presidency of the regional courts included a vice-presidency and three ministries for Santiago Abascal’s party, which have not been detailed.
Vox claims the general direction of communication and chairing the Secretaries Commission, a key position to control what matters go to the Governing Council, in addition to other positions and functions that have not yet been distributed. The delay in convening the investiture session causes Alfonso Fernández Mañueco to go to the PP congress in Seville where Alberto Núñez Feijóo will be anointed national leader without being renewed as president of Castilla y León, contrary to initial forecasts that intended to leave the government resolved before of April.
The president of the Cortes de Castilla y León, Carlos Pollán, has assured this past Friday that he is waiting for the PP and Vox to communicate that the agreement is completely closed to formalize the investiture date. García-Gallardo has also pointed out that the “only difficulty” that the party has encountered has been choosing “among so many qualified candidates.”
VOX has already chosen its advisers. The only difficulty we have encountered has been choosing them from so many qualified candidates.
We will make their names public when they are communicated to President Mañueco and together we finalize the details of the government program. (2/2)– Juan García-Gallardo (@juan_ggallardo) March 27, 2022
