Activision Blizzard has good news for fans of world of warcraft (popularly known as WoW).

The creators of Diablo will launch the franchise on mobile phones for the first time, according to their February 2022 financial results report.

“Blizzard is planning new content for the Warcraft franchise in 2022, including new experiences in world of warcraft Y Hearthstone. For the first time ever, we’ll be putting all-new Warcraft content on mobile devices in the hands of gamers.”

Release details are still almost nonexistent, but it will be the first Warcraft game released since Warcraft 3: Reforged in 2020, and the second to reach mobile devices, after Hearthstone.

In addition to a WoW for phones and tablets, Activision Blizzard has also announced that a new generation of Call of Duty It will arrive soon and it will be done by Infinity Ward, the creators of the series Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Although the new game Call of Duty still untitled, a tweet posted by Infinity Ward strongly suggests that it would be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Blizzard Entertainment, which recently announced that it is working on a new video game in the survival genre, was acquired last January by Microsoft. According to various reports, the transaction would have reached $68.7 billion, making it one of the most expensive purchases in the video game business.

At this time the agreement between both companies remains subject to review by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
