A strange situation has become a trending topic in social networks and in the main world search engines, and it happened in the Venice Film Festival between Harry Styles and Chris Pine.
Social media went into a frenzy after the world premiere of Olivia Wilde’s “Don’t Worry Darling,” where videos shot from inside the theater showed Styles apparently spitting on Pine, though the act couldn’t be 100% confirmed by the recordings. A video of the two actors garnered more than 1.4 million views.

Styles’ representative sent a statement to categorically deny the existence of a spit.
“This is a ridiculous story, a complete fabrication and the result of a strange online illusion that is clearly misleading and allows for foolish speculation. To be clear, Harry Styles didn’t spit on Chris Pine. There is nothing but respect between these two men and any suggestion to the contrary is a blatant attempt to create drama that simply doesn’t exist.”
The alleged Styles-Pine spitting incident was the latest fiasco to hit the “Don’t Worry Darling” press tour, which has been battling rumors for weeks about an alleged feud between director Olivia Wilde and lead star Florence. Pugh. The two did not pose together on the red carpet in Venice, nor did they hug or look at each other.
Warner Bros. will release “Don’t Worry Darling” in theaters on September 23.
