Yolanda Díaz asks for the vote for “the mayor of Joan Ribó” in Valencia


“Loud and clear”. The vice president of the Government and leader of Sumar, Yolanda Díaz, asks for the vote for Compromís in the elections to the Valencia City Council and for the Valencianistas and Unides Podem-Esquerra Unida in the Corts Valencianes. The leader, who visited the beaches affected by the Port of Valencia this Thursday, in an act organized by the civic platform that opposes its expansion, has expressed in statements to the media: “I want people to vote that make possible the guarantee of maintaining the Botànic and the Joan Ribó mayor’s office”.

Díaz made this request in the presence of Ribó and the Unides Podem-EUPV candidate for mayor, Pilar Lima, during the visit to the Saler beach and the Albufera de València, in an act convened by the Ciutat-Port Commission to show you the consequences of the northern expansion of the Port of Valencia, which depends on the authorization of the central government. On Wednesday the leader she participated in an act of Unides Podem-Esquerra Unida in Alicante, where she asked for the vote for Héctor Illueca to the presidency of the Generalitat and for Manolo Copé in the city. There, the second vice president asked the left to “concentrate the vote” on that candidacy to ensure a third Botànic Pact, the sum of PSPV, Compromís and Unides Podem: “I ask you to vote with hope, that vote is called Unides Podem and that vote is called Héctor Illueca”. The Sumar leader maintains and emphasizes her commitment to maintaining progressive municipal and regional governments after the 28M elections, to which her platform did not appear, but she has allied forces for territorial implantation.

In her speech, the vice president pointed out that “we know the alternative to these governments” is “barbarism, corruption, hits with balls.” “We have to continue with the transformations of the government of the Ribó Mayor’s Office with the support of all the progressive formations,” she insisted.
