YouTube Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month | Digital Trends Spanish

So is Hispanic Heritage Month celebrating YouTube, which between September 15 and October 15, 2021 will give greater relevance to the content created and produced by different personalities and artists of Hispanic origin.

Among the discarded content is a production about Selena Gomez, framed in the Artist Spotlight Series, which will premiere today September 15. In the video, the singer will talk about her life story, her origins and the inspiration behind her latest EP, titled Revelation and that it is completely in Spanish.

On YouTube Music was launched a special list for the occasion, which features songs by artists such as Pitbull, Maná, Daddy Yankee, Bad Bunny, Gente de Zona or Romeo Santos, among others.

Meanwhile, YouTube for Families will also highlight content related to artists and creators of Latino or Hispanic roots, while YouTube for Kids will have lists of videos specific to Hispanic Heritage Month.

At the same time, YouTube announced the expansion of YouTube TV – its subscription service – with more content in Spanish. The new additions are Univision, UniMás and Galavisión, all part of the Univision network and which will be available at no extra cost to YouTube TV subscribers.

In these channels you can see sporting events such as the Champions Cup or the Latin Grammy Awards, next November.

The trio of Univision channels will not be the only novelties: in the coming months CNN Español, Sony Cine, Discovery en Español, Fox Deportes or Estrella TV will be added. However, to access these channels you will have to pay an extra cost that is in addition to the $ 65 that YouTube TV currently costs.
